2011 Keepsake ornaments are now appearing on the market ready for this year's Christmas season. A keepsake ornament is an ornament that is of sentimental value. Each year, there are special Hallmark limited edition ornaments only available through New York Comic Con, which is the biggest and most exciting popular culture convention.

The 2011 Star Trek Defiant ornament is a Hallmark keepsake ornament that was a New York Comic Con exclusive ornament that sold out during the convention. The limited edition ornament, with only 700 made, is a Hallmark ornament of the USS Defiant from "The Tholian Web."
